Home to Azerbaijan Grand-Prix, the Baku City Circuit is a motor racing street circuit located in Baku, Azerbaijan. A lap of the circuit is 6.003 km (3.730 mi), making it the fourth-longest circuit on the Formula One calendar.

The first Formula 1 Grand Prix in Baku was held in 2016. The six-kilometre, anti-clockwise layout of the circuit o ers mixture of wide and open straights as well as tight and twisty corners. The circuit starts with a very long main straight along the Baku shoreline, loops around Government House, and then heads west toward Maiden Tower. Here, the track narrows for an uphill traversal and then circles the Old Town, winding past Baku’s mediaeval city walls before opening up onto a 2.2 km (1.4 mi) stretch along Neftchilar Avenue back to the start line.
