Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach is a city on Florida’s Atlantic coast where you’ll discover 23 miles of white sand beaches, delicious local flavours, eclectic shopping, outdoor activities, scenic trails, and a rich cultural scene.

It’s known for the Daytona International Speedway, which hosts the iconic Daytona 500 NASCAR race in February.

The beach has hard-packed sand, where driving is permitted in designated areas. Near the boardwalk rides and arcades, the Daytona Beach Bandshell hosts free summer concerts. A short walk from the beach, the Daytona Lagoon water park offers go-karts, laser tag and waterslides.

Racing enthusiasts from around the world look to Daytona Beach for thrilling motorsport action. Having hosted events since 1903, Daytona Beach has become synonymous with speed. The main attraction, of course, is the Daytona International Speedway – home of the famous Nascar Daytona 500 race – held each February.

Another must-see is the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America, located at the Daytona International Speedway. This museum showcases the history of motorsports with exhibits on legendary drivers, stock cars, sports cars, motorcycles and other racing vehicles.
